EBLUG is always looking for volunteers!
Contributing to your local LUG is a great way to make new friends who share the same interests and have fun discussing Linux and open source technology while sharing ideas! Being part of a LUG can help students learn: teamwork, current technologies, leadership and community activism!
- Communications and Social Media: Volunteers can help spread the word of EBLUG to their friends, families and in their communities through a variety of media resources as well as through social media.
- Technology: As a Linux user group, we are very interested in Linux and open source based technologies that our members and local communities are involved with and currently working on developing.
- Webmasters: EBLUG can always use help coming up with new ideas of how to manage their web presence or requires help with administrative projects that involve the web.
- Speakers and Presentations: We are always looking for people to help give presentations or demonstrations about technologies that involve Linux or open source. Whether it’s contacting a vendor or giving a small presentation, help is always appreciated.
- Event Coordinators: Are you the kind of person who likes to plan parties, meetings, networking events or gatherings that bring people together? Become an event coordinator for EBLUG and help us organize gatherings for various occasions and events throughout the year.
